Who hinders men from (doing) good, the transgressor, the iniquitous,

Indeed you are a people who are guilty of excess.

You are a people guilty of excess.

In fact, you have transgressed the limits.

But you are a prodigal people.'

Aye! ye are a people extravagant.

Aye! ye are a people extravagant.

Nay, but you are a people transgressing beyond bounds (by committing great sins).

Nay, but you are a people Musrifun (transgressing all bounds by committing all kinds of great sins, and by disobeying Allah).

You are an excessive people.

But you are an extravagant people.

You are a people who exceed all bounds.'

The truth is that you are a people who have exceeded all bounds.

Nay, but ye are wanton folk.

Nay, but ye are froward folk!

Indeed, you are a profligate lot.

Indeed, you are an unrestrained lot.

Truly, you are a nation who exceed (in sin)'

Surely, you are but a wayward nation'

Rather, you are a transgressing people.

Rather, you are a transgressing people.

You have become transgressing people.

In fact, you are a transgressing people.

Nay, you are an extravagant people.

You transgress all bounds!

Surely, you are a people transgressing all bounds!

Nay, but ye are a people transgressing all bounds!

Surely God does not show the way to the shameful liar.

None denies it but the sinful transgressors.

And none will deny it, except every transgressor, rebel.
